Well here we are only 7 weeks into the new year and already it's been quite a ride! But now that things have settled a bit I hope to make more time for our Family Blog! It has been 7 long months since I have posted anything new, so I will do my best to share a little from the last 7 months as well as keep up with all of the new things taking place in our lives! Here's a quick update:
Kason: started 5th grade, discovered his love for reading and reads all the time! Moved into his own bedroom, learned to cook pancakes and makes them for our family every weekend.
Ky: started 3rd grade, celebrated his 9th Birthday in October! Also moved into his own bedroom, discovered his talent for drawing and art just like his dad!
Kohl: started 1st grade, has excelled in reading and writing! Has found his voice, mastering speech and is even demonstrating the art of YELLING!
Krew: turned 3 in December! Learned to talk back and jump off furniture! Graduated to a "Big Boy" Bed!
Mike: took a job with a company in San Francisco, Put the house on the market, passed on the job in San Francisco, took the house off the market, moved Grandma from Ca to our house, work bottomed out, started work with Reaveley Engineers in November, and has been commuting back and forth to SLC ever since!
Marcie: started taking care of Mike's Grandma full time, took a job to help make ends meet, Medical problems galore... Became a single parent when Mike took the job in SLC. Holidays!!! Landed Cake tastings with Avonlea (starting March 20th!) More Medical Junk!!! Lost my sanity! Lost 40 lbs! Yippie! Moved Grandma out... Surgery and now finally working on RECOVERY!!!
Ok, so there is just a taste of the last few months, it has been crazy!!! Here's to a better year and staying on top of our Blog!!!
